Biography

A true embodiment of the global voice, Raven Royce was born in the Philippines to a mixture of Lebanese, Palestinian, Filipina, Spanish, and Swiss roots. She spent her early childhood in Saudi Arabia and Montreal before moving to the Pacific Northwest, on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. She began performing with choirs at the age of 13, touring with two of Dr. Tony Araujo’s critically acclaimed ensembles, St. Patrick’s Regional Chamber Choir and Spirit Alive Chorale, before going on to found her very own award-winning vocal ensemble— “Wings Vocal Collective.” Raven’s fierce passion for music coupled with her love of bringing people together has naturally led her to host ceremonial song circles, activating voices in communities around the world for the past 5 years. At the forefront of her leadership lies a desire that all humans come home to the power, beauty, and intrinsic divinity of their own voice. Raven has shared the stage with such leading edge artists as Ruby Chase, Yaima, Shylah Ray, Monique Benabou and Tabiyus, and is a frequent guest star on popular podcasts. Her debut single “Roots” is the first song off her debut album Medicine, produced by the Grammy award-winning Tristan Boston and supported by a tight-knit community of creatives.
