Rizzie Redd is from Waterbury CT but currently resides in Richmond VA . Rizzie began creating music at 12 years old in 2007 on mixcraft software and a 30$ usb microphone. A self taught audio engineer, Rizzie has always mixed and mastered his own work as well as others. 2015 he was flown to LA to meet with then CEO of Atlantic Records ( Mike Caren ) and was presented with a deal for distribution. Pretty much a standard offer. Rizzie and the Management representing him at the time declined the offer and later joined a local label Dopeski ENT with fellow Waterbury artist Zae France ( currently signed to Def Jam ) , MizzyLott ( currently signed to Prescription songs “RXSONGS” ), Lyn Miller, and Ty Davis . Rizzie Redd is special because he doesn’t have a specific genre of music. He just goes with the flow of wherever the music takes him.
