Billie Jo is a DJ, producer and label owner from Stockholm who in the last years has become one of Sweden's techno phenomenas. Her DJ sets and productions are a manifestation of herself – energetic, playful and romantic, with an explosive-yet-delicate mix of driving bangers, bouncy grooves, hard techno, captivating vocals and trance elements. Billie released her debut Ravenous EP on Work Them Records in 2019, closely followed by her Ne Plus Ultra EP on Unitas Multiplex. Next, Billie’s hard-hitting techno found its way home to Sweden with her third EP on Lilies. Since then, she has been part of compilations for R-Label, Rebekah’s End the Silence and Acts of Rebellion. Most recently she released the groovy vocal led banger Cor ad Cor on Lilies, together with Somewhen’s remix of her original track Faller(LILIES7). Billie is currently working on her next EP, scheduled for late 2024 on her label Shivers. As a founding member of renown underground collective .WAV, Billie has her base within the Swedish scene. She has played for every known organizer and techno club nationally and has left hundreds of dance floors boiling – as well as gigs abroad at places such as RSO, Tresor and Hör. In 2023, Billie took one foot out of the DJ booth and studio to start her own record label - Shivers.
