While growing up in a first generation Hmong household in probably one of the coldest states in the US (Minnesota), begins a melting pot of new ideas and influences from Asian cinema, Anime, internet culture, and a vast array of music as well as his own culture and other random things in life. Through the art of sampled drumloops, vinyl chops, electronic synths and abnormal abstract lyricism, 88 Diagrams is sure to wow audiences while wearing the things that make him unique and weird. ​The name 88 Diagrams comes from a play on the Bagua (8 Diagrams) while being influenced by Wu Tang. The number 8 if rotated creates the infinite symbol, having two together creates a double infinity. Showcasing a love towards Kung Fu Movies and the philosophies displayed within said flicks.
