Born and raised in a household filled with mystical and musical influences on the rugged Pembrokeshire coast in West Wales, Harry Keyworth’s music draws on a rich tapestry of diverse experiences and early inspirations, ranging from John Lee Hooker to Jeff Buckley. His mother made a living as a psychic healer, often guiding the fortunes of both gypsies and gentry just outside the ancient castle walls of their town, while his father, a musician and carpenter, passed on his love for guitar to Harry at an early age, introducing him to the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Satriani, Jimi Hendrix, and Steve Vai. Guitar quickly became the center of Harry’s world, often leading him into trouble as he would deliberately skip school just to return home to play.
