Mxolisi Rodney Dlukwana (born 18 November 2000), better known by his stage name Rodney Coyote, is an upcoming South African musician, songwriter, rapper and record producer. His name arose due to his love for coyotes and his second name. Dlukwana's love for music started in 2009, when he was 9 years old. He'd rap with one of his friends everytime, imitating R-Truth from WWE. Later on, in 2014, he recieved a computer with the FL Studio program installed. He then started making beats at the age of 14 years old and "Fell in love" with his production. In 2016, Rodney Coyote moved to a suburb called Midrand, where he met his friend, Brandon Mugwagwa, also known as "thebakersman", who also loved music. Later on they'd always record songs with earphone and a laptop microphone. In 2018, his production improved. His friend, Shawn Ndlovu, then bought a "bad" microphone from eBay and they started making music more. In 2019, him and his friends formed a music group called "Seeth Clique" which has three members, Shawn, Rodney, and their other close friend, Rebaone Foke, nicknamed "Oreo". Rodney Coyote's influence took root in R&B, Hip-Hop and Trap soul. He is influenced by the work of musicians such as Eli Sostre, Nasty-C, Zooci Coke Dope, Bryson Tiller, and Kanye West. He released a single titled "Glizzy" featuring an artist named Spicey.Sensei.
