Born in Washington D.C., Yin Yang has resided in the DMV area for most of his life. After moving around a lot, he graduated High School before departing to spend his college years at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia where he graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration in 2018.
 Growing up with an eclectic taste in Hip-Hop, Yin Yang spent his high school years admiring the music of Earl Sweatshirt, Kanye West, and Drake. 
 The beginning of Yin Yang's rap career was spurred by his interest in financial gain and financial independence. Yin Yang has been about his money since he was young, working his first job as an art reseller in D.C. at age 13, reselling sneakers in high school and working a corporate job the entirety of his tenure in college.
 His career as a recording artist officially began in 2015 releasing one of his earliest singles: If I Wanted To" with 21 Savage in 2016. Taking a two-year hiatus to focus on his studies he would rekindle his career dropping his first official project: Trap Elegance" in December 2018. Since its release: Trap Elegance" has accumulated 277,000 streams on Apple Music and 120,000 via Spotify. He premiered the video for "Nightmares" on ELEVATOR in January 2019. Striking while the iron is hot he released his sophomore project: Born From Pain" in February 2019.
 Since returning home from college. Yin Yang has been networking with artists in his local region and strategically planning his next releases.
