Myomi’s first release was ‘Sun in My Eyes’, released on Southern Fried Records and featuring soaring vocals by Amber Jolene. The track is an infectious explosion of passion, aliveness, and the simple joy in life and music – colliding the heavyweight presence of big band instruments with the grit of dance music. This first track from the Myomi project has since inspired fierce devotion across the world. South America, Portugal and the Balearic Isles in particular have shown huge love for this release, with many bands and producers covering the song in their national languages. Supported by incredible, unique remixes from the likes of MJ Cole and Paul Woolford, the EP also included solid house music interpretations paying perfect respect to Myomi’s dance industry roots. Experimenting with the spaces in between live and electronic, Myomi is ready to take to the stage and make it come alive. The Myomi sound has been hugely influenced by funk,disco,soul and pop.
