Singer, writer and multi instrumentalist Ella Mae Sueref has been making waves in the UK music scene for some time; first appearing on Mark Lamarr's BBC Radio 2 show at the age of 16, she has collaborated to date with a range of emerging talents across Europe and the States. She has been described in the press as an "unstoppable vocal talent" with "Erykah Badu-inspired melodies and angelic harmonies" A prolific songwriter and performing artist, Ella Mae featured on Gilles Peterson Presents: Brownswood Bubblers Twelve, Pt. 1 , and went on to be the first female artist to release on Village Live Records, with the widely acclaimed album Teal, a collaboration with British rapper Benaddict and producer Slim. of Summers Sons. A long-awaited solo album is due to be released in 2024.
