Kamona. Kamona is an R&B singer/songwriter born in Harare, Zimbabwe and raised in South East London. Growing up in a house echoing the voices of Etta James, Aretha Franklin and Lauryn Hill and later on identifying with the words of Amy Winehouse and Summer Walker, Kamona’s only aim is to be amongst the modern R&B greats of her generation. With her unique approach to songwriting, freestyling and plucking melodies out of thin air, Kamona stands out as a beacon of honesty and heartbreaking storytelling. Her Debut Single “Falling” Gained her radio play on BBC introducing in 2021. Showing this star to the world and introducing her to the wider commercial stage. After a hiatus while Kamona explored sound and writing she is currently working on more music.
