"Heroes and saviours Are cast out as failures Then hung from the rafters And thrown to the wolves While walking disasters Are held up as masters By fascist enablers Playing by the rules Whatever they do Forever we'll be Filtering through To drain the dead sea" ^^^ From the upcoming 4th Mailman album 'The Lighthouse & The Rocks'. A prog-orchestral matter of life and death. A semi-symetrical musical palindrome. In July 2022, Mailman released a remastered version of his debut 2011 'Long Walk Home' EP, featuring a previously unreleased cover of the Kate Bush classic 'Running Up That Hill', in honour of it's Stranger Things inspired renaissance. In 2019, he released a single a month via AWAL, all 12 of which appear on the 3rd Mailman album S3ASON, which was released at the end of 2020 - with 3 alternate versions and 3 new tracks, an attempt to square the circle of the pre & post Covid world. His début album 'No News Is Good News' was released in 2014. The 2018 double album follow up 'Yang Yin' was mastered by award winning engineer Mandy Parnell and was longlisted in 3 categories of the 2019 MPG Awards alongside the Arctic Monkeys, Manic Street Preachers and Tori Amos. It was too independent to be shortlisted, but Mandy went on to win her category for her work that year, including on 'Yang Yin'. Yay. "He's criminally underrated and basically on his last legs" - Tupac
