Joustene moved from California to the UK where she began performing at age 14. She currently lives in Australia, performing solo and with her current band The Maenads. Joustene has released four solo albums— 'Lost in Rhyme' (2019), 'Fugitives' (2020), 'Secret Seer' (2021) and 'After the End' )2022). She released an EP 'Dark Sun' in 2022/3. Her music has been described as 'unique, richly poetic and emotionally forceful' (John Vanek 'The Language of Songs''). A new EP will be released in 2023.
