After having played bass and drums in punk bands, Pino started djing during his teens, with his father as the duo Bone X Zone. Based in Berlin since 2014 he produces and djs as a solo artist under the alias of Pino Peña, and in a duo with Mitchell Jones aka Jones&Roth. He is known to have a strong interest in various styles of music which is reflected in his art. His productions and sets always varies across genres, offering elements from techno, house and breaks while being inspired by punk, psychedelic and garage rock, jazz, hiphop and much more! He has released on labels like Glukkon Records, Entourage Concept, Lo Fidelity aswell as on Schimmer Records, where he's also a resident. He has also put out a track on Martyn’s 3024 imprint and Argentina’s Ri7mo label. In 2023 he launched his own imprint W133, which combines analog photography with diverse electronic music on limited 12“ lathe cuts. He is also a radio host for a bi-monthly show on THF Radio and involved in Coppi and Open Tiny Records collectives in Berlin.
