Christopher Spellen Aka “Spell” is an artist/ musician born and raised in New haven CT. He first fell in love with music at a young age through is father, who was a DJ on WRBB in Boston. A popular radio DJ His father introduced him to all forms of music even putting Spell in violin and piano lessons early on. Spell grew up listening to all genres, some of his earliest influences include Michael jackson, Marvin Gaye and even Green Day but it was Notorious B.I.G and the ready to die album that really gave Spell his love for hip hop. From rappping in cyphers in lunchrooms to winning rap battles in Germany Spell is a self taught artist who takes pride in his lyrics and unique flow. Now in Guam Spell is launched his career with his first single Sugar Honey Ice Tea off the Makin Moves mixtape. Since then Spell has take a page out of Russ’s handbook and has released a song every week in 2020. With an incredible work ethic, great feedback from listeners and steams growing on a daily basis, the sky is the limit for this talented young artist.
