Filip Killander and Biim Frischenfeldt teams up in a singer-songwriter/pop duo called; DARK GREEN FOREST (DGF). They met one another in the beginning of 2020 at a local music event in Uppsala, Sweden. Their debut single See the World will be released 11th of September at all streaming platforms with the purpose to become an anthem for all people that want to travel the world together with their best friend. DGF are not afraid to combine playfulness together with gravity. Give the audience melodies influenced by the folk/pop-culture and lyrics with a meaningful sensibility. They call their music ”green forest”-pop, inspired by the deep woods and the big mountains up north in Sweden. The duo has simultaneously established themselves as a songwriter and producer duo where they make all of the music, production and lyrics on their own. DARK GREEN FOREST is signed to the Swedish independent record label Killander Music Records (KMR) and has high hopes for the future aiming to bring out the sound and feeling of Sweden’s nature and landscapes mixed with happiness and freedom in their music.
