North Manny’s Teddz is switching from class clown to a serious game changer in the scene. Incorporating wordplay into his satirical yet profound lyricism, Teddz has already seen a successful start to his career having played iconic Manchester venues such as Band On The Wall and Manchester Music Festival. As a second generation immigrant he’s not just proud to be from Manny, but an active community voice for his people. Representing in a performance at the Peterloo Memorial for ITV and speaking on BBC Radio Manchester, Teddz has solidified himself as a community figure, breaking genre stereotypes by doing drill at the same time. With a strong root in grime, taking musical influences from a range of artists including Wretch 32, J Cole and even Michael Jackson, Teddz is set to be the coldest addition to Manny’s growing rap movement, with new tracks ready to drop before the new year and into 2023.
