Biography

Originally from Captiol Heights, Maryland, Edonis (formally and by others known as EdieOgee), started making music at the age of 14 with his neighborhood friends using a Casio keyboard and a PC. He later founded, County Projects Studios in Baltimore, Maryland. Soon after, he then incorpored several neighborhood rappers creating the group Capitol Heights Shinas. As "Latroy", EdieOgee was recruited on the spot and appeared in four episodes of HBO's The "Wire" in Season 3. In 2016, he reestablished County Projects Studios with his son Yngnxt (or known musically as nxt). EdieOgee began to expand his reach on music and social media, establishing the website Highcappa.com, in honor of his comrades from his neighborhood. His profile caught the attention of Producers Tra Verdejo and Silk White, resulting in a pricipal role in the webseries "The Hackman." While bringing on his partner in rhyme Tatt2timmy, EdieOgee continued to be featured in several other webseries including "Wrong Place, Wrong Time" 1 and 2, as well as the upcoming webseries "Hand that I was Dealt part 3," with producer and writer Silk White at the helm. He has since re-branded himself with the name, Edonis, giving his music new light. His first EP under his new moniker Edonis, "No Sleep," was met with critical acclaim from his peers and critics alike, recieving thousand of plays and still rising.
