Michi is an independent Canadian singer, songwriter and bedroom recording artist. She is of Korean and Scottish descent. Working in the music industry for over 10 years, she started out in the Dance and EDM world. With a background in jazz training, she freelanced as a jazz singer which eventually evolved her sound; blending Jazz, R&B, Neo-soul and Pop into her music. Michi has had commercial placements on top 40 Canadian radio, and film and television in North America and Europe on networks such as CBC, the Lifetime Movie Network (LMN), CityTV and Netflix. In 2022, “Still Do it” landed a placement on the hit show “Hudson & Rex” S4 E15. Her latest single "Canvas" was featured on "Animal Control" S1 E7 on the FOX network in 2023.
