Digital Shadows is a musical project founded in 2014 by Boris Timchev. As its main instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, he is responsible for the project's direction. Summer of 2014, months later after the project's formation, the debut single "Fading Away" was released to positive reception. After a limited number of live shows with a live band, it was time for a change. A year later came the release for the project's debut music video "Between Everything and Nothing". In September 2016 the debut EP "Defective By Design" was released. 2018 saw the release of the band's single "Make Us Whole Again", along with two official remixes, hinting at a more experimental direction for the project’s future work, and in 2019 the debut full length album "States of Withdrawal" was released, featuring guest vocals from Samantha Bentley, Rachel McAlpine and artwork by the talented Ariel ZB, who's worked with Perturbator, ALEX, Tokyo Rose and others. Digital Shadows is a mixture of powerful lyrics, unique musical elements and creative visual concepts.
