Biography

Jeff Ensign is a multifaceted artist and professional, with a rich background in theatre, music editing, and video production. He holds an Associate of Arts in Theatre and has honed his skills across various disciplines, including video editing, audio production, sound design, 3D animation, and compositing. Jeff is also deeply engaged in content creation, particularly in the development of promotional materials. His work history spans roles such as Music Editor for the Guild of Music Supervisors Awards and Composer for the short film ‘Metachaos.’ Jeff 's journey in music and art began at just two and a half years old, studying violin at the Detroit Music School through the Suzuki Method. His passion for music expanded as he transitioned to the viola, studying with Patricia Rieter during his high school years. In the late 70s, Jeff discovered rock music, leading him to teach himself guitar, which became central to his life. Jeff’s artwork is marked by its vivid and surreal imagery, often dealing with themes of survival, hardship, and the darker aspects of human experience, such as hypocrisy, gaslighting, and abuse of power. Through his unique artistic lens, Jeff confronts these issues, using bold, stylized figures and abstract forms to convey powerful messages.
