Born and raised on the east side of Buffalo New York, (known to most Buffalo natives as “Shadyville ”),rap artist Dubb Dueces (born Alphonso Rodgers Jr)was brought up in a world where drugs and crime surrounded him. Raised by his father, Dubb Dueces learned to use music as an outlet to get away from “the hard knock life”. Although he grew up on artist like, The Stylistics and Blue Magic, he also enjoyed the unflinching hardcore rhymes of artist like The lox and Jay Z. Dubb Dueces started rapping around the age of 14. He went from small freestyle battles to performing in buffalos annual Juneteenth. From then on Dubb went on to write produce and engineer all of his music all of which was self taught. Dubb Dueces formed a independent label by the name of HardMoney ent. He went on to perform in places like Webster Hall, The OHM, RibFest, The Sony tour, and so many more. Dubb Dueces is most known for songs like Do it, You know that, Music is all I know, and so much more. Dubb Dueces released his first ep in 2011 named My First Tape.
