I grew up playing in a rock-n-roll band in the grassy suburbs of Baltimore and then moved out west for school. I was in my dorm 3.000 miles away from my bandmates, so I decided to learn to produce music on my laptop. My freshman year, I would drive to LA almost every weekend. The bloghaus era was in full force, and I began to attend HARD raves. Through these experiences, labels like Ed Banger became my new religion. I found the evolution between rock-n-roll and disco to be quite seamless. I began to dig through blogs and collect these new sounds. I was given the opportunity to host a radio show at my college radio station where I began to DJ and share my new finds. Through my love for music, art, and hospitality, my buds and I started throwing events in SoCal under our label, Disco Naps. We've booked days with Toro y moi, Eli Escobar, No Regular Play and nights with Amtrac, Tilman, and Jimmy Rouge holding residencies in SD and LA. Disco Naps has evolved into a fashion label, mix series, and home to release my music. I've had the honor to play bucket list events like Coachella, CRSSD, and HARD. My Debut EP was released in 2018 on Disco Naps. Now with a fresh perspective on sampling, mixing, and a vision for album artwork that is equally important to the music, I'll be releasing the next version of my rambo project throughout 2023. Rambo is my last name. Don't worry, I come in peace.
