Lukas Schreder is an Austrian musician inspired by the philosopher Plato. He has used his concept of the dream and ideas as the seed from which all creativity and evolution grows and spreads. This frees up his mind and extends the limits of where his music takes him. Platos Dream blends organic samples, distinctive harmonies and repetitive patterns using a variety of instruments, sounds and beat structures which result in forming a unique atmosphere. The quote: „Stagnation is the beginning of the end.“ is the foundation of his musical approach. Just like music grows and develops, Platos Dream is constantly looking for new challenges as seen in his latest project: performing his live-set on a mountain 2200 m.a.s.l. The music video „Platos Dream at Dolomites“ was featured on Viennese television (w24.at) and also grabbed attention of Arturia and Gigmit, which supported the „Platos Dream at Dolomites remix-contest“.
