It is evident that such ominous, gloomy sounds, composed at top-notch electronic production, would hardly be created by just a newcomer, and this is true. The Brazilian electronic producer Gil OS has been active in a diversity of electronic music genres and projects since the early nineties of the last century. Gil OS was the mastermind of the famous MORGUE MECHANISM project, which was one of the pioneers of Industrial / EBM in South America, a member of the cult German label Off Beat. Gil OS has been living in the UK for several years, where he started AMORPHOUS. AMORPHOUS can be described as a combination of pretty rough-sounding and noisy industrial dance tracks, atmospheric and dark soundscapes full of samples and tape loops, which is demanded by all fans of the “old-school” electro-industrial / EBM. AMORPHOUS found its creative inspiration from inside psychology and human behaviour. The songs also reveal some slower passages of a certain romance in darkness and melancholy, something ominous and mysterious about that which is hidden and unknown but yet expressed through AMORPHOUS music.
