Biography

Who says we need to wait till the third Sunday in June? In 2018 every day is all about DAD.
Like any good father, DAD has spent years taking care of others and nurturing talent. As a producer, songwriter, and artist, DAD knows how to bring a vision to fruition, with a work ethic that would make GrandDAD proud.
DAD has been performing since he was a LAD, having shared the stage with acts like The New Cities, Shad, Big Wreck, Stereos, Alyssa Reid, These Kids Wear Crowns, and NEVEREST.
As a writer, DAD has worked with some of the industry’s best talent, including Dale Penner (Nickelback) Paul Fox (Björk, Phish), Marc Costanzo (LEN), and Alan Frew (Glass Tiger).
Always puttering, DAD is currently immersed in several projects, including collaborations with Aviva, Havelin, Aiden Myers, as well as his own releases, of which there have been 3 and counting in 2018. With the groovy follow-up, “Susan”, and the Strange Fruits-released, Joshua Francois collab “Blue Suitcase”, DAD just keeps on going. He followed all THAT up with "Sweater", and already has plans for a follow-up May 15th.
Though DAD has started to focus on his own sound and original material, he’s still actively producing and toplining for Canadian and international acts, constantly looking for new talent to work with. If we’re being nitpicky, DAD’s music could be classified as “nostalgic electronic-infused rock(ish)-pop” (though DAD is adamant that “Stay Home” is a cha-cha). DAD disagrees. It’s pop music. No BS.
