Born in Jamaica, raised in the humble city of Portmore, Gavin Lawrence was no stranger to music. His father, who used to be in a band, influenced him from early on and his love and appreciation for music grew. Starting to compose songs at 12, the never ending urge to create only grew stronger. He released his first single “Cuban Cigar” on Soundcloud in 2016 at 17 years of age. G LAW creates music that pulls from a spectrum of influences, bringing his own distinct Dancehall and Reggae vibe to each track he approaches. Ranging in topics, the songs are catchy and leave the listener humming the song long after it has stopped playing. His first studio album "Konneck" was released on June 18, 2021.
