One of my earliest memories is feeling the beat of a kick drum rattle my rib cage. I stood as close as I could to my dad's band on stage before it hurt my ears. Music captivated me at an early age in a way I couldn't explain. I was a lover of music years before I began playing. I picked up the guitar as a teenager and haven't put it down. Since then it's continued to add color and influence to every aspect of my life. I've played in tiny venues where there were more people on stage than audience members to arenas where it felt like the whole world was watching. But it's always about people and how we're moved and connected by the music. These are the songs that I need to write in order to feel like I’m fully breathing in and out.
