Born in Brooklyn, NY as Rolando Blake Jr. & raised in Kendall, Miami, Fl with Panamanian blood flowing through his veins, Hip-Hop producer & rapper itsKOTIC began rapping in 1998. Formerly known as K-OTIC, it wasn't until 2004 that itsKOTIC began making beats & producing records. In 2005 He produced his 1st official & nationally recognized single, Throw It Up. That same year he enrolled in Full Sail University, where he graduated with a degree in Recording Arts in 2006. Continuing to progress as a rapper & producer, he began building his production studio which originated in his parents garage. In 2009, He created a new brand titled I Am a Brand Media Group where he was able to shift his focus from rapping, to prioritizing being a producer. This move catapulted his career which allowed him to produce for artist on a national & internationally scale. itsKOTIC has produced records for Shawty Boy, Judah Priest, Money Mark Diggla, Kiño, Esco Records, St Laz, Cheryl Martinez, L.E.S.G.O.
