From opening slots for the likes of Ice Cube, Apollo Brown & Skyzoo and Looptroop, collaborating with artists and producers from Sweden and France to the US, to rocking shows around his native Finland and several European countries, JAG has kept spreading his signature no-holds-barred style of lyricism and rugged boom bap sound to hip hop heads far and wide. After releasing 4 albums and 3 EP’s in English, the experienced MC dropped his first Finnish-language album in January 2024. And while most of his Nordic colleagues have switched to rapping in their native languages altogether, JAG is returning to his roots on his upcoming EP, Shop Talk 2. And to keep things interesting he also has a brand new Swedish-language project on the way, as a member of the Fenno-Swedish supergroup Fyrk, alongside Finska ”Snubben”, Tom Alfons, Walt Miguel and DJ Rullbiza. The seasoned artist stays on his grind and vows to keep approaching the rap game art and heart first, unconcerned about trends and waves.
