Biography

Carl Dixon - is a legendary Canadian rock artist for the mere fact he's still alive. He was and is front man of Canadian rock bands including Coney Hatch (vocalist and song writer) for over thirty years. Carl was lead singer with The Guess Who for eight years, he played in and opened for April Wine for four years. Carl was first signed to Mercury Polygram at just 22 years old, with Coney Hatch, opening for Iron Maiden and Judas Priest's North American tours. Described as a man of titanium, rock and soul, Carl barely survived 52 injuries including traumatic brain injury from a car accident in 2008. His comeback is the stuff of legends. Carl Dixon is now an inspirational speaker with The National Speakers Bureau, Canada, sharing his story of resilience and success. Remarkably he tours, sings and plays solo to theatres and festivals. Carl also tours with his Coney Hatch buddies (and still puts on a kick ass show) and other times performs with former members of The Guess Who. The aptly titled "Unbroken" is Carl's eighth solo album. He's recorded five albums with Coney Hatch and is featured on April Wine's live 2003 and The Guess Who Shakin' in Las Vegas. (though Spofiy does not correctly display all the associated albums as many of you have asked)
