Google revealed that Dave Bentley had uploaded two of my songs to a free download site, and one song ‘Scarlet Fever’ had been downloaded thousands of times... It also appeared on hundreds of YouTube videos, each video attributing Dave Bentley as the songwriter/musician. Cue a slew of admin, legal advice & flattery/frustration as 'Scarlet Fever' ended up on a tourism commercial and TV series… Dave Bentley was never found.
