Sudden Reverb is the alias of Mexican producer Fernando Perez Gomez, known for his work in Australia as Nahuatl Sound System and Aztek Electronic Music. His work is a blend of dub, techno, triphop, with Mexican spices. Growing up in the punk/hardcore scene of Mexico City, his early years exposed him to urban and underground sounds, to later on in life be exposed to cutting-edge, high-tech music and become also an electronic music producer. His music combines technology and live musicians on stage to deliver a fierce sound, in the style of sound system culture. He has collaborated with many international renowned artists like High Tone (France) and Meeting By Chance/Skalpel (Poland) from Ninja Tune record label, and with Grammy-nominated artists like Nai Palm from Hiatus Kayote. His recent works have been remixed by Deadbeat (BLKRTZ, Berlin) and New Zealand's Pitch Plack (Dubmission Records) and also featured in Gaudi (UK) Selection Subsignals vol. 2. Sudden Reverb has released two singles through Dubmission Records (UK) and self-signed releases through his own record label.
