Str8 The Clippa is a WI based MC and founding member of rap group 98 Posse. He discovered his passion for rap music at age 5, then at age 9 opened up his rapping abilities to friends and family. He and friend Professa Ace went on to start a group called 98 Posse representing the year they started rapping. Str8 also started recording demos at age 15. In 2006, he and his partner in rhyme DLav met each other eventually becoming what the 98 Posse is today. They have released 2 mix tapes and a full-length album along with fellow Member MCY. Str8 then ventured on a solo career releasing his highly acclaimed album Resurrection of the Boom Bap, which was influenced by 90's East Coast boom bap and an ode to his favorite rapper KRS-One. After a short hiatus, he and DLav have remerged to once again drop the funky hip-hop as solo artists and as the 98 Posse.
