Marsela Çibukaj with a distinct blues/soul timbre, embarked on her musical journey in Italy, where she moved at the age of eight. Despite pursuing legal studies, her heart has always been dedicated to music. Her exposure to Rome's vibrant live music scene enriched her repertoire in blues, rock, and jazz, laying the foundation for her distinctive vocal style. Marsela honed her craft under the tutelage of renowned instructors from Berklee College of Music and further refined her skills in jazz improvisation with Maestro Beppe Vessicchio. Her performances in various theatrical productions and live concerts across Europe with bands "THE AXIS" and "MARSEL - acoustic trio" garnered critical acclaim and a loyal following. Her breakthrough came in 2010 when she was named "Best emergent Singer" in Rome. This accolade paved the way for her success on The Voice of Albania in 2011, where she finished as a finalist, cementing her status as a beloved figure in the Albanian music scene. Marsela's artistic versatility shone through in festivals such as Top Fest and the RTSH Festival, with notable songs like "Sipar", "Mijera Nete", and "Ndjenje Pa Kohe".
