MonoloQue has been incorporating Malaysian-Nusantara-Asian elements in their discography since the beginning of their musical homily in 2004. Their musicalisation of culture intends to look for the Malaysian identity in vibrations and sonic waves while projecting them to music appreciators locally and even globally. Their constant drive to experiment made them a yardstick of everything that is versatile and fresh while still maintaining their identity. Raw and unique are what best describes monoloQue’s sound. They flirt with various genres and structures, giving their listeners a sense of both euphoria and diaspora as they dive into the sometimes nostalgic musical projections of the band, finding a sense of belonging while also constantly searching for it. The band’s constant breakthrough has given birth to 3 albums which are Jejak Tanah, Jangan Puja Sampai Kecewa and Lagu Perang. They have also released 2 main EPs namely Inderaloka and Perang Halimunan and its remastered version that was composed within a year, Perang Halimunan (Belum Tamat). All greeted with enthusiastic reviews from listeners and critics.
