Yadira Brown is an Austinite songwriter, poet, singer and vocal producer. Originally appearing as a featured artist on several classic underground hiphop records, she honed her songwriting skills in the MySpace/SoundCloud era. Her brainchild project, Keeper, was well received nationally after their first single “Happy To Be Sad” (written by Brown) achieved a sync placement on Comedy Central’s hit show “Broad City”. She later co-founded The Vapor Caves, a modern funk duo with producer BoomBaptist.
