My best friend growing up was also my cousin, he was the rapper of the family, and I was the athlete. My cousin's life got taken by a drunk driver. I have always excelled in English and writing, and my big sis would teach me poetry. One day after my cousin passed, I just started writing, I had no idea really what I was doing but got more into the rap game in 1994. I had to put these dreams aside to support my family, but I never stopped writing. One day my wife found me a decent priced studio and I went in and started recording.
