DJ Frass is a Jamaican record producer and founder of DJ Frass Records. The internationally acclaimed producer is the force behind some of the most popular and influential dancehall riddims of this decade such as Clearance, Reggae Fest, Netflixxx and Road To Success. He has produced some of reggae and dancehall’s most successful hits, including; Tarrus Riley’s mega reggae hit ‘Just The Way You Are’; Mavado’s ‘Weed & Hennesy’ featured on DJ Khaleed’s ‘Suffering From Success’ Album (debuted at number 7 on the Billboard 200/peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums); Alkaline’s global 2017 dancehall hit ‘Extra Lesson’ which topped the BBC Radio chart for many weeks. In 2016, he won the coveted Best Reggae Album Grammy award for Morgan Heritage's ‘Strictly Roots’. He has also twice nominated for the Reggae Grammy, in 2017 for J-Boog’s Album Wash House Ting and in 2019 for Etana’s album, Reggae Forever. The musical architect’s charisma and work ethic has earned him fans among some of dancehall and reggae greatest and his winning formula has made him a much sought-after producer by stars the world over. DJ Frass has enjoyed many successes in his career as a music producer and has worked with the likes of Shaggy, Sean Paul, Tarrus Riley, I-Octane, Jah Cure, Shenseea ,Kojofunds, Steflon Don and Chip to name a few.
