Blacka Da Don born November 17th 1990 in Edmonton, Alberta, re-located at a young age to the Toronto Community Housing known as “Pelham Park Gardens”. Blacka began free styling with his friends at school and in the neighbourhood, immediately his friend Jarvis recognized his talent and constantly encouraged Blacka to take his music more seriously. Unfortunately shortly after this time Jarvis was gunned down in cold blood in a case of mistaken identity. This is what started the career of Blacka and gave him the drive to make and release music. Over the next few years Blacka built relationships , dropped 12 mixtapes, and performed at a ton of shows and even along side, French Montana, Chinx Drugz, Jadakiss, King Los, YG, Cashout, G Eazy, Tory Lanez, Waka Flocka, Kirko Bangz, and Yo Gotti. Blacka then released his fist “Mini Hit” “Money Walk” produced by Murda Beatz. Shortly after the release unfortunately Blacka's uncle Payback fell victim to gun violence. Payback was not only Blacka's uncle , he was his mentor, friend, and father figure as Blacka's biological father was not in the picture. Blacka took this very hard and to cope he took to the studio for months straight, leading to a writing credit on Drakes “Two Birds One Stone” . He has spent the last 9 months taking to stages all over the country, including touring with Riff Raff and has been working very closely with OVO40 to release his debut album “A Part Of My Story”, expected to release November 2017.
