Biography

Michael Olson is a singer/songwriter, worship leader, and pastor at The Church of Eleven22 in Jacksonville, FL where he has been a part of its explosive growth for the last seven years under the direction of Lead Pastor Joby Martin. Michael joined the artist roster of Michael W. Smith’s Nashville based Rocketown Records in 2004 with the release of his first record “Long Arm of Love.” He followed that up with 3 subsequent musical releases including “Where Fear & Faith Collide,” “Sacred Invitation,” and “Heartland,” a collection of songs about his life following Jesus as a son, husband, and father. Michael juggled his career as a singer/songwriter with serving as Michael W. Smith’s touring drummer, and a communicator for Compassion International from 2005-2011. He was also a featured worship leader with Catalyst and Northpoint Community Church during that season. After the birth of his first-born son, Michael and his wife Ashley joined the staff at Christ’s Church of the Valley in Phoenix, AZ where he served as worship pastor for 6 years before joining the team at Eleven22.
