A Nashville transplant from the mountains of Utah, Chris Croce is an eclectic bass player with a passion for laying down the groove and digging in to those shining bass moments. Chris is a proud D'Addario artist with a well rounded career using his talents across genre's from salsa to funk fusion to rock. As a University of Miami alumni, Chris had the opportunity to learn from industry greats such as Shelly Berg, Steve Rucker, Brian Lynch, and Bruce Hornsby. As a student in the Bruce Hornsby Creative American Music program, Croce was mentored personally by Hornsby and continued to play with him even after graduation. Chris has worked with a variety of Nashville based artists including Kyle Cook of Matchbox 20, Paul Childers a touring Bose artist, and Marquee Mayfield an up and coming disco funk artist. When he's not on the road he's busy producing, playing sessions, and working on arrangements for projects he is passionate about.
