Biography

Dren Calisas (pronounced cuh-lee-sus) was born Adrian Haggerty on April 24th, 1975, in Malvern,Arkansas is an American R&amp;B/soul musician, singer and rapper. He previously was known by Guerilla Hollywood (A name given to him by Tila Tequila from the MTV reality show "A Shot At Love"). Dren was the Hollywood commander of the Los Angeles born activist group EGP (Elite Guerilla Posse). Tila Tequila introduced the EGP to the world on the Tyra Banks show. His big breakthrough came from collaborations with Devante Swing and Mr. Dalvin (both from the American R&amp;B group Jodeci) the biggest R&amp;B group of all time. Dren has developed a huge following based on the soulful, real elements penned in his music. As a talented writer and producer, his songs are visually and emotionally engaging, with references to his childhood and the pitfalls he encountered growing up in a poverty stricken community. He did not achieve major success in his home state of Arkansas because of the lack of exposure; and like most artists, he headed to California early in his career to pursue bigger opportunities. He has collaborations with Big Syke or "Mussolini", Young Noble (both from the late Tupac Shakur's rap group Thug Life and Outlawz), Shock G of Digital Underground, Young Bleed (formally of Master P's No Limit Records, Nump Trump (E-40's Sick WidIt label), Leila Steinberg (Tupac Shakur's first manager) <br>
