Vato Trampa is a DJ/ Producer/ Artist from Sacramento, California. Also known as Krave Deez, Vato started making beats in the early 90’s out of necessity. He was a young emcee, and at the age of 15, he was the youngest in his rap group, Gravy. Being the youngest, usually meant he was left the beats that nobody else wanted. So he started to create his own. Using an old beat up Gemini mixer sampler, records and a 4 track Tascam, he created some eclectic sample heavy drug influenced dark boom bap. He worked with a lot of local hip hop talent in and around Sacramento throughout the late 90’s. In the late 90’s into the 2000’s he was also involved in some live bands, (LSD & CMPDRE). Performing all around California helped hone in on his crowd control, and he learned how to keep their attention. At this time he started to book special events DJing and providing musical soundscapes for local restaurants and businesses. As his latest Band fizzled out, DJing took hold and he began to book weekly residency’s. One thing that always remained true was his love for the music. He never wavered from playing what he felt was important for people to hear, introducing new music was a top priority. 
 Come full circle, Vato Trampa is producing, writing and recording more than ever. Working with talent from all over the map. Don't sleep.
