Video game enthusiast Matt Silverberg (AKA MarimbaMatt) has carved a niche in the music world thanks to his love of video game music and the marimba. He has arranged a plethora of video game tunes and has performed as a soloist at numerous conventions including MAGFest and VGMCon and performs his VGM marimba act frequently within the Twin Cities. His video game arrangements have garnered thousands of views on YouTube. In addition to video game conventions, Matt has also performed internationally, in numerous pit orchestras, amusement parks, orchestras, choirs, and other professional groups such as the Heartland Marimba Ensemble and VocalEssence. He released his first album “Bottles Memories” on March 13th. It’s an electro/rock album primarily featuring the marimba. It can be purchased on his bandcamp and is also available to stream!
