Biography

Tone Rucker (born August 24th, 1990) is an American rapper, songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur who originates from Connecticut. His voice is characterized by a distinctive baritone and melodious vocal style, and his lyrics articulate a gritty, street-savvy narrative.
Tone began to establish himself as a rapper in the early 2000s. In 2003, he gained recognition as co-founder of "Writers Block Ink," a nonprofit program for at-risk youth. Writers Block Ink began as a 501c3 non-profit organization to encourage youth to use writing and performance as tools to address personal and social challenges on the community stage. Students create original productions which explore critical themes and issues.
"Who's to Fear" was Tone Rucker's first mixtape, released in 2009. He would release several other mixtapes over the next few years, including "Poetry in Emotion" in 2012.
Tone speaks a lot about his past, and how he was raised. He's no stranger to tragedy, he mentions the people he's lost and the times he's been through.
Since 2019, Tone Rucker has released over 30 singles and racked up over 480k Spotify streams.
