Written and sung in Italian without censorship of local dialect or slang, Rekkiabilly delivers a well-shaken musical experience with lyrics as authentic as homemade wine. The group was formed in 2005, combining the creative talents of singer-songwriter and guitarist, Dario Mattoni and saxophonist, Lidia Bitetti, and has been exporting its distinctive swing/rockabilly sound across Europe ever since.Following a some experimentation with the group's formation, Rekkiabilly has recently strengthened its line-up by welcoming an explosive wind sextet, and introducing the official master of slap, Kris Sinister on double bass.
