Off to a spectacular start with the recording of their debut album "Tourist to this World" in 2007 shortly after they met at a party, Leipzig based band ZIN soon advanced to one of the most sought after live-acts of the German club scene. As a result they went to support Phillip Boa on tour and soon released their follow up album "Definition" with renowned record company Rough Trade and cover artwork by Neo Rauch earning them excellent reviews and a solid fan base. After a guest appearance in the German movie "Hotel Deutschland 2"and a shift in line up, expectations are now high for the trio's forthcoming album to be released this year. ZIN's new songs are an inspired take on original collaborations between singer Sebastian (The Artist formerly known as Sebastian Thon), Markus Estbourg showcasing atmospheric electronic beats colliding with dense guitars & live drums and a distinctive approach of 'synth versus human' pop.
