This 26-year-old Sri Lankan American began his musical journey at the tender age of 4. After being compelled by the way music made cinema stand out, multi-genre record producer and songwriter, DJ Jihad initially aspired to produce only a small number of musical tunes for his friend's short skits before his professional music career began to take off. He surfaced in 2017 with a hard trap bass instrumental titled “Trap Attack” which later featured lyrical support from Stoic Records recording artists, Vega Uchiha, Delgod, Complex & Don Lyrik as a specialty track off of his debut album, “Arrival”. His 2018 showcase gained attention from a slow melodic instrumental titled “Hope” featuring unique lo-fi drum machine rhythmics from frequent collaborator, 3AM. This ultimately led to the release of “Waveform”, the producer’s sophomore album featuring a new variety of hip-hop, R&B, heavy trap and soul. As for 2019, the producer confirmed works of new music after the release of a special dancehall instrumental titled “Uptight”. DJ Jihad later released his junior full-length album titled “Starlight” at the end of the year. DJ Jihad ended 2020 during the second quarter with help from rapper, ImagineThat! After the promotion of his second single titled "Loca", a bass-booming moombahton dance hit, the producer released his final album, “Retrospect” to mark the end of his 4-part story. Music for 2024 has not yet been confirmed but the super-producer urged fans to stay in the loop.
