Biography

Horus MLCHZDK: a conduit of cosmic soul.
The singer & songwriter looks to share cosmic unity on Earth through his artistry. Arriving in Brooklyn, NY, USA his musical spark was ignited in his family’s church. His formal musical training began while attending FH LaGuardia High School (The Fame School). It was in these high school years he experienced the electric thrill of MSG on stage where he and other classmates sang BGVs behind famed Josh Groban. He’s also been blessed to share the stage behind the likes of legends such as Dee Dee Sharpe, George Boone, Barbara Tucker, Melba Moore, David Bratton, Freddie Ingleton of Blue Magic, J Moss, & Bare Naked Ladies.
The Cosmic Soul ‘genre’ is the gathering of sounds that reflects oneness of the human spirit in The All. Some influences include: Prince, Marvin Gaye, Bobby McFerrin, The Temptations, Erykah Badu, John P. Kee, EWF, The Notorious BIG, The SOS Band, Hezekiah Walker, Parliament Funkadelic, El Debarge, The Isley Brothers, Chicago and Daryl Coley just to name a few.
Horus’ first self released single, the retro ballad ODE TO THE QUEEN & a capella ep TH GLDN RCH: RBLLN are acknowledgments to his musical roots and influences infused throughout his unique audio alchemy. Along with his first music video THREE WEEKS LATER Horus takes pride in the authenticity these cuts possess. There is still more to hear 💜
