Tia De Gannes is not just an artist. She is a vocal activist and honest storyteller. Born and raised in the West Midlands, her ethos as artist is reminiscent of raw, lived experiences; embracing underground talent and evoking change amongst societal issues. 
 Being a granddaughter of the Windrush Era, Tia's influences range from Amy Winehouse, The Internet, Beres Hammond, Etta Bond, Destra, Tom Misch, Luther Vandross and beyond. Developing an eclectic sound that infuses Neo soul, Reggae and alternative RnB alongside deeply personal lyrics, De Gannes is an open and unapologetic singer-songwriter. 
 Tia has made her mark on the South Coast, performing live at open mic nights and jam sessions throughout 2018. Her debut single 'DAWGS' released in 2019, is a true story about her 'coming out' experience which was followed by her first sold out headline show in her second home, Southampton. The Wolverhampton born artist wears her heart through her pen and after taking the time to develop her sound. Her latest single, ‘Protect Your Energy’ is a testament to her ethos as an artist- to uplift, unite & unapologetically be yourself. She describes her sound as ‘reimagining UK RnB.’
